Jesus came to save the whole world. He didn’t come for one set of people – He came for everyone. The whole world was in a terrible state – in desperate need of redemption and salvation. No man could do anything to save the world, so God sent Jesus Christ, Him in human form, to save us all. He came for the children of Israel and He came for the Gentiles too. He came to save the lost, the broken, and the hardened. He had no reservations against a single soul. Even the Pharisees that he knocked heads with so often were a part of those He had come to save. Jesus came with no intention to condemn a single man. His mind was set on saving everyone – past, present and future. The fate of mankind was terrible but Jesus came and changed all of that. He came with His arms wide open, ready to love anyone who came this way. He was always willing to reach out no matter what it cost Him.
1 Corinthians 13 has always been the go-to portion of the Bible when it comes to defining God’s kind of love. God’s love far exceeds any other form of love that exists on earth.
We often tend to think the love that is shown in books and romantic movies it the kind of love that matters the most. That love is often an inaccurate description of what love is meant to be.
Love is not about the butterflies in the belly or the kisses at the end of the movie. The love that the media shows you is nothing compared to the love of God.
Paul described God’s love in these few lines but these words are powerful. Love endures long.
This means that love is patient beyond all human reasoning. When others choose to walk away, love chooses to remain and be kind.
That is exactly what God did for us. He loved us and still loves us through everything – good, bad, and ugly. Love is not envious and it is not vain.
God put us before His interests many times. He could have chosen to protect his feelings by cutting us off, but he didn’t. He could have programmed us to follow his every beck and call but He didn’t do that either. He stuck to His promise of giving us the ability to choose – even if we chose against Him. #blogs2u #autohash #Saginaw #UnitedStates #Michigan #decoration #ornate #card #gold #flower #margin #design #pattern #illustration #paper #floral #retro #vintage #invitation #banner #template
Spiritual Financial Wisdom is the book by Randy Alcorn, who, according to his credentials, has been a financial adviser for over thirty years. He gives us great insights into what our spiritual, financial situation may be. He explains that our spiritual life influences our ability to manage finances. If our spiritual principles do not guide us, then financial decisions become very difficult to make. Spiritual financial wisdom teaches that something directly connected them with our financial situations to our spiritual values.
Randy Alcorn teaches in this Bible study on finances and spirituality that our material life does not have direct ties to our spiritual life (what he calls our spiritual life). Because of this, it is easy for our spiritual values to get mixed up with our financial situation. Our financial choices can either strengthen or weaken our spiritual foundation.
When this happens, we get caught up in day-to-day life, rather than focusing on our spiritual path or on what God has revealed to us about His plan for us.
Let’s look at some difficulties he lists down in his book. He says, “We will see an increase in consumer debt, an increase in divorce, difficulty paying mortgages, job loss, and possibly an increase in abortion.” He explains that if these things continue, we will face financial challenges that exceed our ability to cope. He says, “We will encounter increasing frustration and stress.” He also teaches that if our spiritual situation is not in harmony with our personal financial situation, then one can never move towards spiritual, financial wisdom.
Randy Alcorn teaches it is important for one to have a strong spiritual foundation before getting started with any type of serious finances. He states, “It’s like building a house on a foundation of concrete – you can’t expect it to stand without concrete as well.” He also teaches that the spiritual understanding behind the law of attraction can help one achieve financial goals.
Spiritual financial wisdom involves using the law of attraction to manifest your desires and goals in a way that works for you. Randy Alcorn teaches it can manifest all our dreams into financial reality if we use the power of our mind. This type of spiritual, financial wisdom does not involve worrying about how much money you make or where you are going. The only thing you have to focus on is working towards your goals.
He explains, “Money is just a tool. It doesn’t determine your happiness. Money is just a vehicle. When you focus on the spiritual side of god and what he wants for us then, you realize you have a long-term goal and you can get to that goal and realize success.” However, he points out that sometimes people focus on the short-term thinking that will cause the wrong financial situation.
Alcorn believes that money can only help you in your financial situation if you use it to help yourself first. “When you think of yourself as poor, that’s when you get the bad financial situation. When you think of yourself as wealthy, that’s when you get the good financial situation.” Spiritual financial wisdom teaches you how to use money positively to create abundance in your life. The more money you have in your life as long as you achieved it in full spiritual harmony with God, the better off you will be.
Randy Alcorn says, “When you are trying to get out of debt if you are not using the law of attraction, you may end up in debt again.” Spiritual financial wisdom helps you realize the power God has over our finances if we submit it to him. It is important to take advantage of the power of the kingdom of god offers in order to make the right choices and to achieve the financial goals you have set for yourself. Spiritual financial wisdom helps you make the right choices.
